WANTED: Participants for a photo documentary project

Was your great-grand-father one of those gold-fever-possessed maniacs or your grand-mother one of those professional Blue Birds? Are you one of those fanatic nature-lovers or simply a lone wolf?
Or maybe you are just counting the days until your 18^th birthday to fly out from this God-forsaken nest that your parents damned you to? Anything goes – what I want to know is:

WHO ARE YOU and WHY THE HECK DO YOU LIVE HERE?

I am looking for protagonists for my photo-documentary project in which I would like to portray the town of Gold Hill through its current residents.

I would like to cover as many facets of the town as possible – so everyone, no matter what age, gender, or amount of sympathy to living in the mountains – is welcomed to tell their story. Everybody who has lived in Gold Hill (and “suburbs”) for at least one year and for now intends to, would like to or has to (children, teens…) stay here can participate.

For those, who do not know me yet: I am a journalist/writer/photographer who last year moved from Germany to Gold Hill and has since then very often dealt with the “why the heck”- question…
