We wanted to share that NCL is now offering two awesome new services designed to support accessibility needs…a Telehealth Booth and a CCTV! 

Need to see a doctor but don’t want to leave the neighborhood or put on real pants? NCL’s got you! Our new private, soundproof telehealth booth lets you connect with your healthcare provider in a safe, quiet space with no waiting room required. All you need to do is call and schedule to reserve your spot! Here are a few of the features our new booth includes: 

Private, soundproof space: for virtual telehealth appointments and consultations

Medical devices: (thermometer, blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter)

Printer/scanner: for prescriptions or documents

Accessibility features: (large print magnifiers, Stella low vision multi mode lighting)

But wait…. there’s more! To support patrons with visual impairments, we’ve also added a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) magnifier. The CCTV assists with: 

Magnification of text/images: (up to 60x or more)

Adjustable contrast and color modes: (white on black, yellow on blue)

Auto-focus camera: to keep materials clear

Large display screen: for better visibility

To top it off, NCL offers one on one direct support from our staff to help or assist you with assistive technology and telehealth support.
