Tree Planting Information for 4Mile Recovery

What:
Help us re-generate the forest by planting trees on land affected by the 2010 Fourmile Fire.
This year we’ll be planting 750 two-year saplings.  Each baby tree is about 2 feet tall with an 8 inch root.
When:
Saturday, April 21, 2011. 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. (Back-up date: Sunday April 29th)
Where:
Sunshine Canyon  (Steep rocky terrain)
Bring:
Sturdy boots, work gloves, hat, lunch, water, shovel, (pick axe and spade
would be helpful), and a spirit of adventure!  We will supply the trees.
Dress:
Spring weather in the Colorado foothills (Everything)
Details:
This is a project coordinated with Boulder County Parks and Open Space and is sponsored by the
American Bar Association Section on Environment, Energy, & Resources’ One Million Trees Project
