Traffic signal being relocated from lower work zone to upper work zone tomorrowLawrence Construction will relocate the first set of signals you encounter traveling into the canyon (south section) to the upper work zone (north section) tomorrow during the day. The new signal location will be just below Salina Junction. Signal timing is expected to be similar to what was used in the lower location (four minutes). The remaining two signals in the south section will remain in place until back-fill is complete at this location and the surface is safe to drive one. Back-fill work has taken longer than anticipated at this location due to high groundwater levels causing compaction problems and material supply issues. Please let me know if you have questions.
