Lots of Gold Hill folks have seen the moose in and close to town.  Steffi Wilson saw him up on Hill Street, Chris Finn saw him near their house, and Val and Anita saw him in Sturtz’s yard last night.  Here’s the latest report from Val.    Be careful out there!

I had my first and second visit by Bullwinkle at my house Thurs. and Sat. On Sat. I was shooting pics on my deck when he charged towards me, then swerved at the last second away from the deck. It happened so fast I would not have imagined it possible. They can travel up to 35 m.p.h. Deep snow does not seem to slow them down much at all.

Just a heads up for everyone to be careful around this guy.
