Subject: Red Flag Warning for Sunday, April 10 NO OPEN BURNING

NWS has issued another Red Flag Warning for Tomorrow, April 10 from 1100 to 1900.  There will be NO OPEN BURNING from 0001 to 2359 Tomorrow, continuing from today.

Very dry conditions combined with breezy winds will continue to
produce critical fire weather conditions across much of the urban
corridor, Palmer Divide, Cheyenne Ridge and southern plains this
afternoon. Conditions will improve this evening as the winds die
down and a cold front pushes through the region.

Wind gusts will be stronger on Sunday. Temperatures will be
cooler but it will remain very dry. This is expected create
another period of critical fire weather conditions across the I-25
corridor and northeast plains.

WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE I-25 CORRIDOR AND
PORTIONS OF THE PLAINS…

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM to 7 PM MDT Sunday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Affected Area…Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 241, 242 and
243.

* Timing…11 AM MDT until 7 PM MDT today and again on Sunday.

* Winds…West 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph today. Northwest
20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph on Sunday.

* Relative Humidity…As low as 11 percent.

* Impacts…Any fire that develops will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning should be avoided, as well as any activity
that may produce a spark and start a fast moving wildfire.
