Proposed Voting Precinct Boundaries Available for Review

Boulder County, Colo. – A packet detailing proposed voting precinct boundary changes for Boulder County is available online for public review.

Boulder County’s Elections Division developed the new boundaries to reflect recent redistricting decisions made at the state level. The proposed new precincts take into account new boundaries for the county’s U.S. House, Colorado Senate and Colorado House representative districts.

The suggested changes must go before the Board of County Commissioners for final approval. The commissioners are set to review the map at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Boulder County Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder. That meeting is open to the public. The public can also email comments about the maps to Brad Turner with the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at bturner@nullbouldercounty.org.

If approved, the new precincts will take effect for the 2012 election cycle. To view the maps or find more election information, visit BoulderCountyVotes.org.
