I have been asked to gently remind Gold Hill residents  to please make sure their outdoor lighting adheres to Boulder County lighting codes so as not to disturb neighbors.  Outdoor lights should be shielded to direct the light downward to keep from lighting up the whole neighborhood and creating light pollution.  The following link is to a pamphlet which illustrates the whats and whys of lighting requirements in the County.  Your neighbors who love our night skies will thank you.
