Community Digest » Help needed at Sacred Mountain Ashram

We are requesting help at Sacred Mountain Ashram on Saturday, September 17th from 9 am to 12:30 pm for the following 3 projects:

6-8 PEOPLE TO MOVE SLASH: We have lots of piles of slash in the forest that need to be moved and we’re thinking a human chain might be a good way to do it (we’re open to suggestions). We also have piles of old wood in our meadow that need to be moved to the back 40 as this is not good firewood (can’t even give it away). Please bring work gloves.
1-2 PEOPLE TO PAINT DECKS: We have a deck and ramp on our 55′ diameter geodesic dome that needs a 2nd coat plus 2 smaller decks on the ground level. We will provide brushes.
2-3 PEOPLE TO WEED OR SPRAY INVASIVE NON-LOCAL PLANTS: we will provide equipment but bring a mask if you have one.

All of these projects are at our 10668 Gold Hill Road property.

We are inviting everyone to join us for a vegetarian lunch at 12:30 pm (bring big appetites).
