Gold Hill Museum Community Outreach

Posted on: June 1st, 2024

The 10th Annual Community Outreach for Historic Gold Hill, Inc.  will take place on Friday evening, June 21st, 2024, on the south lawn of our Museum.  This year we will be sharing lots of fun information about the history of foods in Gold Hill from the early days to currently.  We begin the evening at

5:30 pm with a cocktail party,

6:30 pm with an ice cream social in the style of the early Gold Hillians, and

7 pm with an evening of fun facts presented inside the museum for you to enjoy.

Additionally, we want to share our evening honoring Joan Few, our Board member and great Curator of the museum since nearly the beginning.  Joan will be moving the end of June following the Community Outreach for the Pacific Northwest to begin a new chapter in her life and to be nearer to family.

Come join us for a great evening.  Please, no pets, and your well-behaved children are welcome as well and friends and family.  This is a closed event designed exclusively for the Gold Hill Community.  Help us remember the food of the past and say farewell to Joan.  Let’s have a grand time!  If you know someone in Gold Hill who does not have email, please see that they know about this evening.
