Our third Foodbank is scheduled on Wednesday, April 1, between noon and 2 pm on the patio in back of the Gold Hill Store.  The Nederland Food Share brings quite a wonderful assortment of fresh and canned/dried foods and we want everyone who needs/wants supplies to come on by.

Because we must practice social distancing in this Coronavirus pandemic time, everyone needs to be aware and respectful of these basic rules.  We need to wash or sanitize our hands before arriving and be careful to stay 6′ from one another – difficult as that is for most of us. At least we will get to holler and visit a bit.  My plan is for folks to enter from Gold Run Street in the back of the Store and exit out the front so as to keep from passing each other too closely.  Also, please bring your bags (we have only a few) and stop at the entrance – hand your bag to one of us and we will fill it with what you request and bring it back to you.  We will have on gloves and be very careful.  This is our first effort to figure out how to really be as safe as possible.  If you have further suggestions, please let me know.

We will take anything left over down to the Fourmile Food Bank.
