MEETING BUSINESS:
CALL TO ORDER ATTENDANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES

FIRE CHIEF’S MINUTES: Chief Gibson, Chief O’Brien and Assistant Chief DeBroux
OPERATIONAL NEEDS: OPERATIONAL UPDATES:
- ● New Campfire SOG is in effect and volunteers have been trained TRAINING:
- ● Past training
- ● Upcoming training- Possibly training opportunity to obtain ROHVA
UTV certification. Pricing would be similar to last time around.
Training would be in October most likely.
- ● New volunteers
- ● Taskbooks- Distributed to volunteers electronically last month.
MAINTENANCE:
- ● Station maintenance- Update on flooding damage and moving
forward- Max Y, Bret, Leslie
- ● Update on improving accessibility for apparatus/installing new garage
door- Max Y. EQUIPMENT NEEDS:

STRATEGIC PLANNING
- ● Update on meeting with Fourmile Board member Robert Constable-
Boyd and Max
- ● Building a group of individuals who will work on the Strategic Plan
and possibly a Capital Replacement Plan?
- ● SDA membership- Kent is providing necessary documents to SDA to
get an idea of membership cost. VEHICLES:
- ● Engine 5404, 5402, 5439 and UTV- Update on apparatus maintenance- Max, Dave S.
- ● Update on shed/storage area pad for UTV- is a shed at this site feasible given flooding? Can we look at installing a Conex box instead for UTV storage? Is this site no longer in our best interest for use?- Max
INVENTORY:
- ● Equipment needs? Steffi reports that we are getting low on PPE.
Fourmile has agreed to help however they can while we wait to
possibly receive grant money to make purchases. GENERAL:
- ● Emergency Egress Parking Concerns- Parking concerns have been brought up to town council as well as the fireboard. Boulder County has been contacted and will do an assessment on Monday, August 28. Who can attend? What recommendations or assessment can be conducted prior to this meeting to give suggestions to County? -Kent
- ● End of year party for volunteers? Do we want to discuss allocating funds to provide an event for volunteers? Can we set aside funds for purchase of GHFPD hoodies to add to their station wear?- Steffi and Kent
ADMINISTRATIVE:
● Timeline for new overhead? With possible extension of Fourmile andLefthand assistance how should we move forward with providing consistent overhead to volunteers?

GRANTS- Kris Gibson is working on the PPE grant (will no be in attendance) MITIGATION-
- ● Ashram wood removal- Boyd and Kris Gibson
- ● Mitigation project on north side slated to be finished by December,
still have funding for an additional 45 acres, BLM may do a portion
of Lickskillet in 2024- Maya, Kent COLLABORATION- CWPP- Other collaboration work- Chris Dirolf WEBSITE- Needs and updates- Jess Brookhart
COMMUNITY EVENTS/FUNDRAISING- Sunset Trail Running Race
