         ILLEGAL CAMPFIRES:   Illegal campfires west of Gold Hill continue to be a concern among residents and our sister FPD’s.  As we’ve witnessed, wildfires know no district boundaries. The board is requesting that you develop a set of response protocols that consider variables such as wind, fire danger, safety of volunteers and the public and the use of existing and possible new equipment. Please be ready to discuss this request at the November 29 board meeting.
