members to use it?

How can we start moving training documents and powerpoints toVector Solutions?

OPERATIONAL READINESS:

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Begin discussions regarding the feasibility of funding and building an

entire new station vs. an addition to our current station which could

possibly be covered by Boulder County grants. Given our upgrades

with a new apron, generator, electric, and widening of garage doors

and with available space on the northwest corner of the fire barn,

could this be a more realistic approach? Could add training space,

dedicated workplace for a Chief or fire department personnel, interior

stairs for accessing upstairs, proper locker room.

CAPITAL REPLACEMENT PLAN

What is our plan for future storage for 5402 once the new apparatus

arrives? Given the age of our current fleet and continuing increased

maintenance costs, should we look at selling our old fleet as we

replace them with new apparatus? Concern would be that we hold on

to older equipment which sits. Examples of this are pervasive in

Boulder County and in most circumstances these backup apparatus

are never used and collect dust. Could also use funds from selling an

apparatus to buy a command/medical vehicle.

Building a new shed for storage? Shed has been budgeted for.

BUDGET

Any impacts from receiving the County grant?

VEHICLES:

5404,5402, 5439 and UTV-

Any update on the new Engine arrival?

New maltese is mostly complete, what else do we need to provide the

Wait until we get new Type 6 in service before moving forward with a

possible command vehicle?
