Front Range Watershed Days

Posted on: September 26th, 2019

You may have heard about the Front Range Watershed Days event that the Lefthand Watershed Center is coordinating. The Fourmile Watershed Coalition is participating and we thought there might be some Gold Hill residents that may be interested in spending the day in the creek with us!

If you can, please share the information below / attached / linked, in whatever format your community is most receptive to. We would love to connect some folks with our shared watershed and have some fun in the creek collecting data!

This Saturday, the Fourmile Watershed Coalition is participating in the Front Range Watershed Days BioBlitz. This event is a community-driven watershed science field day and celebration!

We are looking for folks (individuals, families, everyone!) that would like to spend the morning with experts assessing the conditions of our stream. We will be in the creek collecting data related to habitat and stream structure, macro-invertebrates (bugs!), and environmental protection and restoration, to better understanding our watershed.

More information can be found in the flyer attached and visiting the event website: https://watershed.center/front-range-watershed-days/

Thank you,
Cat
