Dear Mountain Residents,

Since Foothills United Way has played such an important role in the Fourmile Fire recovery, I would like to open the following opportunity to our mountain residents who might have some extra time and would like to participate in our annual process of deciding which local non profits receive Foothills United Way funding this year.  Please see the following ad for more information:

It is that time again- we have started the process of evaluation for 2012-15 United Way Funding Cycle. As the agencies are preparing online program applications, we are working to recruit volunteers to evaluate those programs and make funding recommendations. I have included the 2012 Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities for additional information.

The 2012-15 Funding Cycle and evaluation process is going to look a little different as we have introduced an online application and evaluation system and improved volunteer education as part of the volunteer experience.

Please join us for an orientation on one of the following dates:

Thursday, February 16^th 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

or  Tuesday, February 21^th 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Attending the orientation does not commit you as a volunteer but all volunteers are required to attend an orientation.

Both meeting times will take place at Foothills United Way’s office at 1285 Cimarron Drive, Lafayette, Co 80026. Please let me know if you need directions.
