What a glorious day for bocce – all eight hours of it!

After a shaky first round, Tom Huth and Bear Carlson managed to prevail, winning the final match with Gretchen Diefenderfer and Michael Albes 12-10. The winning final ball was only ¼” closer to the pallino. Close enough…

It was great to have newbies competing with the old timers. And thanks to all for the yummy munchies which kept us going through this marathon tournament.

We were all winners!
