To All

In order to get emergency notifications from Boulder County “Reverse 911” (Everbridge) you must understand that this is a robocall and will not follow the directions on your answering machine. Also, if you have a long greeting on your answering machine, the Reverse 911 will disconnect before the emergency information is given.  If you unblock, or set as a priority call, 303 441-1400, it might save your life.

To sign up for notifications go to www.BoulderOEM.com .

The caller ID number for all BCC emergency notifications is 303-441-1400. Community members can create a contact in their cell phone using this number, helping identify the source caller and avoiding the potential for call blocking. Unique ringtones may also be programmed.

Per Boulder county sheriff dispatch center.

After the dispatcher sends the emergency notification from Everbridge, the distribution of the message is the responsibility of each cell carrier. Per FCC rules, dissemination is voluntary and the carriers have the authority to expand or contract the initial geographic footprint. Impacts to surrounding communities are unpredictable and should be considered.
