Deadline to apply for mortgage assistance is July 22

Boulder County, Colo. – Homeowners who are at least 90 days late on their mortgage and unemployed or working fewer hours because of the economy or a medical condition, may be eligible for up to $50,000 in mortgage assistance.

The Emergency Homeowners’ Loan Program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development can help with monthly mortgage payments, but the deadline to apply is Friday, July 22.

Residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties can apply with the Boulder County Housing Counseling Agency at 2525 13th St. in Boulder or online atwww.BoulderCountyHC.org.
