Community Wildfire Survey

Posted on: September 3rd, 2021
Hello Again,
Greetings!

It has been great meeting lots of you over the past few months! As a reminder The Boulder Watershed Collective is partnering with CU’s Masters of the Environment students (Julien, Brian and Korey), the Town of Gold Hill, the Fire Department, and residents like you to help reduce wildfire risk and improve forest health (learn more about ‘Gold Hill Collaboration on Wildfire and Forest Health’ project). We sent a Community Wildfire Survey in June to capture your thoughts about wildfire risk and preparedness, and values for healthy, local forests. Attached you can see some initial findings from this survey, completed by around 30 people from Gold Hill.

We wanted to push this survey out one more time to capture more perspectives and improve results to be included in more visualizations to be shared with the town. To capture your thoughts and insights, please consider taking the following survey: https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/cOcM42nO (~15 minutes). Each member of your household is encouraged to take the survey separately if they are 14 years old or older.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Erin Fried at: erin@nullboulderwatershedcollective.org

Thank you for considering this request! We look forward to receiving your vital input.
