Commissioners to meet with U.S. Forest Service

Forest Service to brief Commissioners on Tuesday

Boulder County, Colo. – The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 1 to meet with officials from the U.S. Forest Service and receive updates on issues of mutual concern.

The USFS will make a presentation to the commissioners on issues including fire conditions and recreational shooting. The board will then have an opportunity to ask questions of USFS staff, led by Glenn Casamassa, Forest Supervisor for the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland.

NOTE: The public is welcome to attend, but public testimony will not be taken at this meeting.
