Open House for Boulder County Wildfire Mitigation and Emergency Services Ballot Measures

Tomorrow, November 29, from 4-6PM
Downtown Boulder County Courthouse
1325 Pearl Street, 3rd Floor, Boulder

This November Boulder County voters overwhelmingly supported ballot initiatives 1A and 1B to provide a sales tax increase for wildfire mitigation and emergency services. Through our work with all of you, we know that building wildfire resilience in your community is a high priority. Lending your voice to help determine how these local funds will be spent is incredibly important. Please drop in to the Boulder County Open House tomorrow and/or take the survey to make your voice heard.

This year BWC has partnered with communities to plan and implement wildfire related projects like forest restoration, defensible space, home hardening, educational field trips, collaborative planning and more. What specific programs or services does your community need? Let’s make sure that these funds are maximized to increase community safety and watershed health!
