Forestry Tip of the Day: Got slash? We have a chipper and a free location to drop it off on this Saturday, July 13, from 9am to 3pm. We will be collecting slash in the Bar K neighborhood located 6 miles west of Jamestown off of Overland Road. This event is open to everyone!

This is a you haul it, we chip it style event brought to you in partnership by Boulder County, Colorado State Forest Service, Left Hand Fire Protection District and the Bar K Association. We will not accept raked up pine needles at this event. Don’t have a truck/trailer?? Then team up with a neighbor who has one or rent a trailer in Boulder.

Before hauling slash please view our event flier for directions and info on what will and won’t be accepted. We are chipping everything as it is unload so we have specific requirements on what we can accept. Event Flier: http://www.bouldercounty.org/doc/landuse/jamestownbarkchipping201306.pdf
