Yet another great Poggio d’Oro bocce tournament, on a perfect day. Although Gretchen Diefenderfer and Michael Albes had won the tournament four times previously on the Fernalld court, victory on the new court had eluded them – until today. They rolled two “quads” (four point giros) in the final match versus Poppy Copeland and Pam Leland to claim the title.
