​Mountain MidLife Dinner, Friday, February 26, 5:00pm for 5:30pm dinner, Nederland Community Center
Menu: Herb Crusted Baked Salmon, Lemon Butter Sauce, Roasted Asparagus, Parsley Red Potatoes, WW roll, Kale Beet Salad, Peach Melba Crumble w/ Chocolate Crust. Please advise us if you have special dietary needs when you make your reservation. Cost is $9 under age 60, $5 requested contribution over age 60. Please sign up at the meetup site, reply to this email, or call 303-258-0799. Once you sign up, if you cannot attend, it is very important that you call to cancel.  Our nonprofit host must pay for all of the food and we do not wish to waste any.

 

​Swing Dance at the Avalon, Saturday, February 20, 7:00pm free lesson, 8:00 Live Big Band, 6185 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder

Swing Dance at the Avalon Ballroom with ​the Flatirons Jazz Orchestra – a traditional Big Band dance band. Dance lesson 7:00 to 8:00 PM included with the price of admission. Dancing 8:00 to 11:00 PM. Dance music during intermissions by DJ Frank Vernon. Sign up at Meetup site and watch comments posted there for carpool rides from Nederland.

Admission: $15 per person general; $10 students; volunteers free. Children $5 only with responsible adult in charge. Cash or check at the door. Light snacks provided. There is a coat room. All ages welcome. No partner or dance experience required. Please wear non-marking shoes. Dress to express yourself. Casual is fine.

​Pot Luck Brunch open to all Mountain MidLife Friends – couples or singles. Hosted in a private home off of Ridge Road, 4+ miles from downtown Nederland. Address provided after signup. We plan to make this an ongoing monthly “Brunch Group”  on the last Sunday of each month at various private homes and sometimes dining out (except we have canceled March due to the schedule conflict with Easter). Please bring a favorite brunch dish to share (along with the recipe for it). The host of this potluck is providing beverages. Limited to 26 participants this month. Please sign up at the meetup site, reply to this email, or call 303-258-0799 no later then Monday, February 22.
