Hey Gretchen,
Just a heads up. I found this moose antler and then the big male moose out at Rocky Point today. He was bedded down just off the trail by the first big fire pit. Luckily the dogs did not find him. I was post-holing as fast as I could go away from him to avoid a confrontation. But maybe the Gold Hill folks should know that there is a big fellow out at the point to avoid moose-people interactions.
It was a very thrilling meeting which ended well.
