Representatives from American Civil Constructors (ACC), the contractor retained to complete the flood recovery project at Salina Junction, have informed the county that they now intend to officially begin construction on Monday morning, Jan. 4, 2016. The delayed start is due to the need to prefabricate the large culvert that will be installed under the road. The contractor believes that construction will still be complete by the originally scheduled end date of late May 2016. The day-to-day work schedule will remain the same.
