Just to let you know that a series of 6 plein air paintings of Gold Hill I created this fall will be shown at the Osmosis Gallery, 290 2nd Ave., in Niwot. The opening is this Friday, December 4, from 6-8 and the show will be up for the duration of the month of December.

Nestled in the foothills of Colorado, Gold Hill is a place of beautiful vistas…and so much more! It is a vibrant community which boasts a rich gold mining history. In this series of autumn plein air paintings I tried to capture some of the landscape, the history, the school (a community focus point) the quiet roads and the color.”
