Gold Run Road and Fourmile Creek flood recovery open house Dec. 8 

Public feedback on plans will be collected

Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County will present updated designs for permanent reconstruction of Gold Run Road and stream recovery plans for Fourmile Creek at an open house on Dec. 8.

     What: Open House

     When: Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

     Where:  Fourmile Firehouse, 1740 Fourmile Canyon Drive

After the meeting, input received from the public will be incorporated into the next phase of design, if applicable. Permanent flood recovery-related construction of the road is anticipated to begin next summer.

Members of the public do not need to attend the meeting to submit input. Meeting materials, including current designs, are currently available on the project website. For those unable to attend, the county encourages them to comment by:

• Sending an email to abarth@nullbouldercounty.org.
• Using the project’s online comment form.
• Mailing a letter to the Transportation Department C/O Gold Run Road Permanent Roadway Repairs – P.O. Box 471 – Boulder, CO – 80306

All public comments should be received no later than Wednesday, Dec. 30 in order to guarantee their consideration for the next phase of design.
