Here is an update on the Jamestown Beauty Project on Sunday, May 31st…

Please contact me:  303.473.0811 if planning to go (even if you’ve contacted me before,) so I can get a firm count to send to Nina, the coordinator of the Jamestown Planting and beautification project.  We’ll plan to meet on Main Street at 8:40 to coordinate and carpool.

Subject: Planting in Jamestown

Hi everyone,

Wow, this weather has been a bit of a bummer for our Bringing Beauty Back to Jamestown, but the sun is shining today and we are looking forward to a great weekend!
Here are some details regarding Sunday’s volunteer day. Please let me know if your group will be coming and how many people we can expect.
Sunday, May 31st –
– Plant donations from Garden to Garden group to be distributed and help residents plant them
– volunteer activities involve planting native plants, shrubs, ground covers
– yard work as well depending on the need of the residents
– plant willow trees on at least two properties along creek
Bring:
– layered clothing, it can be chilly in the morning
– water
– tools if you have them available
– if you would like to have lunch at the Jamestown Mercantile with a group of 5 or more, please call ahead – (303) 442-5847
