Most Boulder County Voters Should Now Have Their Mail Ballot

Most Boulder County Voters Should Now Have Their Mail Ballot

Boulder County, Colo. – Most active, registered voters should have their ballots for the upcoming election if they were registered by Oct. 9.

Voters who have not received their mail-in ballot or have questions about their ballot can emailvote@nullbouldercountyvotes.org or call 303-413-7740. Voters who registered or updated their registration information after Oct. 9 should receive a mail ballot in the next week.

There are still two ways to register and vote in Boulder County’s Tuesday, Nov. 5, election.

  1. Register online at www.GoVoteColorado.com no later than Monday, Oct. 28 (must have a Colorado driver’s license or state ID to use website). The Boulder County Elections Division will send you a mail ballot. Return the ballot by 7 p.m. on Election Day to a Voter Service and Polling Center or mail ballot drop-off site.
  2. After Monday, Oct. 28, you can still register to vote if you visit one of four Voter Service and Polling Centers in Boulder County no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. Once you’re registered, we’ll issue you a ballot in person at the center.

The Boulder County Elections Division has distributed 200,793 active ballots for the Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, Coordinated Election. Each mailed ballot packet includes a list of ballot drop-off points. A full list is also available at www.BoulderCountyVotes.org. For Boulder County voters, postage for returning a ballot will cost 46 cents.

Key Dates for the 2013 Coordinated Election:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 15: Ballots mailed to all active, registered voters.
  • Monday, Oct. 28: Last day to register to vote online for the coordinated election. New this year, voters may register in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center up to and including Election Day.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 5: Election Day. All ballots must be in the hands of the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office by 7 p.m.
