How to Donate to High Peak Fire victims.

Posted on: June 22nd, 2012

There are two great ways to donate money to help the High Park Fire victims.

NoCo Rebuilding, a Fort Collins nonprofit group, is working to raise money for victims of the still-burning High Park Fire.  NoCo REbuilding has raised $5,000 so far and plans to donate 100 percent of donations to homeowners looking to rebuild their homes in Larimer County, according to Amy Alcorn, a spokeswoman for the group.

To donate online or for more onfirmation, visit NoCoRebuilding.org.  For more information, see this article in the Boulder County Business Report  http://www.bcbr.com/article.asp?id=63401

In addition, for members of Elevations Credit Union,

Effective TODAY through July 6th, 2012, the Elevations Foundation will match all contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000 for the fire relief effort.

As of June 19th, nearly 200 homes have been damaged or destroyed in the affected area. As such, your Foundation will work in concert with Larimer County Agencies to ensure that all funds collected will go to meeting the needs of fire victims. These agencies have the infrastructure and processes in place to make sure displaced residents will get much needed housing assistance.
