If you file a 1045 form with the IRS before the end of the year you can get back all federal taxes for the past 3 years if you lost in the fire.
( house, shop, etc.).  It’s called “application for tentative refund ” form 1045 . It worked for me and the $ helped a lot . Give it a try – you have nothing to lose .
