1.  Free chipping last Saturday 10/8:  only four people took this opportunity, probably because of the short notice we got from the County.  However, there is another opportunity for free chipping relatively near us on October 22 down in Lefthand Canyon.  The person to call to find out where to take your slash there is Ashley Garrison (Agarrison@nullbouldercounty.org 720-564-2673).

2.  Update on the County grant and a supplemental grant from the Gold Hill Town Meeting to partially reimburse people for their chipping costs – Later this month I will submit invoices of 18 households and request the reimbursement for up to 70% reimbursement for their qualifying expenses from work done this year.  The total amount of expenses incurred is $20K.  The total grant amount participants will potentially share is $7K ($4K from the County and $3K from the Gold Hill Town Meeting).
