Content finalized for 2011 mail ballot election

Boulder County, Colo. – The final language is available now for each of the races and issues that will appear on Boulder County ballots for the Nov. 1 mail ballot election.

The following participants will have races or issues on Boulder County ballots during the upcoming election:

•                     Boulder County

•                     City of Boulder

•                     City of Louisville

•                     City of Longmont

•                     City of Lafayette

•                     Boulder Valley School District

•                     Park School District R-3

•                     St. Vrain Valley School District

•                     Thompson School District R2-J

•                     Rocky Mountain Fire Protection District

•                     Coal Creek Canyon Park and Recreation District

The 2011 content is available at www.BoulderCountyVotes.org. For more details about individual races or ballot questions, contact the individual municipalities or special districts.

The upcoming election will be conducted by mail ballot. All active, registered voters will receive a ballot. Election Day is Nov. 1, but voters will begin receiving ballots in mid-October.

Key dates for 2011 Coordinated Election:

•                     Monday, Oct. 3: Last day to register to vote for the election.

•                     Tuesday, Nov. 1: Election Day. Ballots must be received by Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office no later than 7 p.m.
