Subject: Fourmile restoration effort update

Fourmile Canyon Fire Community Contacts:

I am providing an update to the Fourmile Canyon Community Contacts.  Aerial mulching and seed treatments have been completed in the area affected by the fire.  The treatment of invasive species is to follow.  I will be supervising Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) employees working to restore a native plant community as part of the restoration effort.  Property owners who have signed the “Permit For Emergency Watershed Protection Work (EWP)” may notice employees engaged in ongoing treatments on and adjacent to their property.  An Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach will be utilized to assist with invasive species control.

If you have questions, concerns, or helpful information about the community feel free to contact me.  I will working alongside BCPOS representatives and will be available to address concerns on a daily basis.
