Red Flag Warning – No Burning

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM MDT this evening.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM MDT
THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE
FOOTHILLS...PLAINS AND PALMER DIVIDE
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior
Critical fire conditions will be in place from the foothills
across the plains due to very dry conditions and gusty northwest
winds. Winds may gust up to 50 mph across the plains with some
gusts up to 60 mph in the foothills. In addition, there also may
be some blowing dust across the plains.
IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
  spark and start a wildfire.
