CALL TO ORDER- ATTENDANCE- APPROVAL OF MINUTES-

FIRE CHIEF’S MINUTES: Chief Gibson, Chief O’Brien and Assistant Chief DeBroux

OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
New public notice sign has been printed and new placard needs to posted in front

OPERATIONAL UPDATES:
New Chief has been hired- estimated start date is June 1st.

TRAINING:
5 volunteers are completing S130/190- Need to make sure we get them Red Carded
Need to organize an additional pack test date asap
Training this Thursday- Exterior Fire Attack or UTV training at the fire barn, waiting to hear back from the training cadre.

MAINTENANCE:
● Station maintenance- Any immediate needs?-

Gutters- Work completed?
Approval to get an estimate for a basic generator package to be installed at the firebarn. Idea would be for the generator to automatically provide power during power outages. Possibly look at upstairs being a refuge area and having an additional deep freezer if power outages extend multiple days?

GRANTS- Need to get a thank you letter for County Grant Committee MITIGATION-
COLLABORATION- CWPP-

COMMUNITY EVENTS/FUNDRAISING- Fourth of July. Who is taking the lead? Will there be food? What is the timeframe? How are we advertising and preventing traffic issues? Will need to employ help from Fourmile, Sunshine, and Lefthand. Can we do something extra for the firefighters? Maybe make tee shirts for the volunteers?

Parking- Bret Gibson, Chris Dirolf, Brian Finn, Mike Mcnett, Whitey Debroux, and Kent all met and discussed parking issues in town. The store and the Inn are both actively encouraging patrons to carpool or use bus services. Kent has sent an email to Boulder County regarding parking issues and finding a resolution. No response from Boulder County. Will email again.
