CALL TO ORDER ATTENDANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES

FIRE CHIEF’S MINUTES: Chief Gibson, Chief O’Brien and Assistant Chief DeBroux

OPERATIONAL NEEDS: OPERATIONAL UPDATES:

  • ●  ROHVA UTV training will be held in October in GH

    with 8 GH personnel currently signed up

  • ●  Sunday Sept. 24 GH fire department cleanup and

    taskbook firefighter olympics training

  MAINTENANCE:
  ● Station maintenance- Any immediate needs? Purchase of a Connex

  will need to be approved for UTV storage. What is needed for

  leveling and preparing a site? EQUIPMENT NEEDS:

  STRATEGIC PLANNING
  ● Update from Boyd and Max: Is there a team in place? Needs from the

  board?

• ●  SDA membership- Kent recently received correspondence regarding cost effective opportunities for membership and will follow up with that individual.

  VEHICLES:

• ●  Engine 5404, 5402, 5439 and UTV- Update on apparatus

  maintenance- Max INVENTORY:

  GENERAL:

• ●  Emergency Egress Parking Concerns- Board members and Chief

  Gibson met with County officials in town regarding parking concerns. Concerns have been aired and the County reports that further assessments will be conducted and townspeople should expect improved and updated signage, where needed, by Spring/Summer 2024.

• ●  End of year party for volunteers? Do we want to discuss allocating funds to provide an event for volunteers? Can we set aside funds for purchase of GHFPD hoodies to add to their station wear?
