Requesting community volunteers

 

Hello,

 

The Sunset Trail Running Festival will be held on Sept 22nd.  The festival is a series of races in Gold Hill and along the Switzerland Trail.  All proceeds from the races will go to a shared Forest Restoration Fund to be used on forest restoration or wildfire mitigation projects.  Local organizations who will share the funds include Gold Hill, Fourmile, Sugarloaf and Sunshine Fire Districts and the Fourmile Watershed Coalition.  We need local volunteers to staff aid stations (water and food) and medical personnel at these locations.  Click here for more race info.

 

Volunteers are needed from 630am to 3 pm and shifts can be split into am and pm.  Below is an outline of where we need volunteers.  In addition to these locations, we will need assistance with lunches and other tasks in Gold Hill if there are additional volunteers who would like to assist.  Please contact your local representative to sign up for a shift.
