I want to thank everyone that has contributed a kind word, a warm hug, a shoulder to lean on, and most of all your continued support as we continue to move forward without this amazing woman in our lives. She truly was the most amazing woman I have ever known.

 

Here is the flyer with information on the celebration we have planned June 7, 5-7 p.m. Outdoors, which she loved. At Chipeta park, so the kids can run around and people can enjoy a picnic. And a flower garden in her memory that people can help plant.

 

We have raised almost $13,000 for her memorial scholarship fund. A large portion of the fund was donated by a wonderful local gentleman that wanted to remember her, and her amazing role in our community for so many years. Our initial goal is $15,000. This is for both the high school scholarships and music scholarships. These were things we talked about in her last months and put in place through a local non-profit to remember her passion for journalism, her kindness, generosity, and love of music.

 

I hope everyone can make it to this celebration of her life. It will be a beautiful tribute.
