Enjoy fine dining at affordable prices with friends old and new. Menu is Salmon Croquettes with Remoulade Sauce, Eggplant Tomato Pesto Napoleons, Kale/Quinoa, Coconut Pudding Cake with Berries.  5:00pm doors open for social, 5:30pm meal served.  SUN, 4/28 Deadline for 5/12  Boulder Opera – Sign up in April for May Show

Signup deadline for discount tickets to join us at this show. See 5/12 listing below.

TUE, 4/30  Eco-Cycle & CHaRM Tour & Lunch

Witness massive sorting equipment systems and specialized handling that rescues tons of Boulder County trash from landfill burial every day at Eco-Cycle and the Hazardous Materials Management Facility. We can then cross the street to see all the resources at the ReSource and Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. Learn how we as individuals can ensure maximum use and minimal impact from products we consume. And see tool libraries to prevent consuming even more items.

After our morning tour on Tuesday, April 30, we will enjoy lunch nearby at the highly rated Efrain’s Mexican Restaurante & Cantina. No charge for the tour; bring money for lunch.
NOTE NEW TIME POSSIBLE:  We will need to determine during the weekend what the canyon closure schedule will be. Carpools were originally scheduled to depart Nederland Community Center at 9:00am for our 10:00am tour, but if we face hard closures in the canyon, we may back up the departure time to 8:15am and determine whether the tour can start earlier or if we wish to take a self-guided tour of CHaRM across Arapahoe at 64th beforehand.
Please ensure you have signed up with us at 303-258-0799 or via serenekarplus (at) gmail.com so we can stay in touch with everyone as last minute timing changes unfold… If you plan to meet us there, please meet in the lobby entrance on the west end of the Recycling Facility on 63rd Street north of Arapahoe at 10am unless you hear otherwise from us via email.

WED, 5/1  Lunch Program, Scott Harrison, Carousel Carver

Missed the dinner? Catch a brief version of Scott Harrison’s presentation about the birth and expansion of Nederland’s beloved Carousel of Happiness on Wednesday, May 1. Our lunch program has converted to the Mountain Peak Life program and welcomes all age adults for an affordable chef-prepared meal (see menu, pricing, and RSVP info at end of newsletter). RSVP for the Noon lunch or just swing by for the presentation around 12:30pm.
