Volunteers are essential to our mission: 

“To create a community-driven resource center for those who have experienced catastrophic losses in local disasters, providing support through the unification of community resources and community connections.”

Volunteers are needed in a number of different capacities, with many different skill sets and availability.

Donate

You can offer support in the form of material or monetary donations.  

Material donations that meet our criteria and the needs of the community will be distributed to those who have suffered catastrophic and/or uninsured losses from the floods.  Please bring your donations to The Community Exchange site at 2775 Valmont, behind ‘The Station’  and next to ‘Futebol Indoor Soccor’ on the NW corner of 28th and Valmont.   If you are unsure if your items fit our need, OR if you have items you’d like to specifically send to our (coming next week!) Lyons location, you can let us know what you have available to donate by going to the website and clicking the button and completing the Intake Form. Once we are ready to begin accepting donations for Lyons, we will contact you.

We accept donations of new and gently used goods.  We are not able to accept your ‘stuff’.  While we understand everyone wants to help, if it is worn out, dirty, broken or damaged, please don’t bring it.  For a list of currently needed items, go to the website
