Subject: Special Gold Hill Town Meeting Wed. March 2, 7:30 PM at the Community Center

You are encouraged to attend a special Gold Hill Town Meeting to review and comment on the Boulder County Multi-Hazards Recovery Plan and the emergency preparedness planning efforts specific to the Gold Hill area.  Public input is vital.

Mike  Chard from the Boulder County Office of Emergency Management will present a brief overview of the County’s plan  and local residents Peter Swift and Erich Grundlach will present information on Gold Hill area planning efforts.

We invite you to review, discuss and help revise wording in a resolution to join the County plan and enfold the Gold Hill planning efforts into the BCMHRP protocols. This process is needed to allow Gold Hill to receive Federal and State funding for post-emergency funding and access to resources.

Your attendance is important. We need your comments so we all get a better idea of what this means and to get us at the table for Federal and State funding. The special meeting will also enable us to hold a formal vote on the resolution.
