Boulder County, Colo. – With construction of permanent repairs at Salina Junction anticipated to begin the week of Nov. 16, Boulder County and its engineering consultant will host a public meeting on Nov. 12 for all interested parties to learn about the project and its anticipated impacts.

What: Salina Junction Permanent Flood Recovery Project Public Meeting
     When: Thursday, Nov. 12, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Salina Schoolhouse, 536 Gold Run Road

American Civil Constructors have been retained to complete the work, which is anticipated to last through the spring of 2016. Current plans do not call for extended, full-time road closures, but there will likely be travel delays of up to 15-minutes during working hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There may be occasions when the road will need to be closed temporarily in order to accommodate construction. Any full closure of the road will be noticed seven-days in advance on the project website.
