Hi all – As I mention at our last meeting, the Red Cross is hosting a few free CPR/First Aid/AED classes for local mountain community leaders as part of our recovery team’s efforts to expand the capacity of communities that are at risk of being isolated in a disaster.    Anyone from the IMA is welcome to attend either class.  Space is limited and will be given on a first come bases.  To RSVP please email  me (mary.steffens@nullredcross.org) with your name, phone number and email.  Since our recovery team has to pay for these classes and because we want to ensure that we train as many people, if you RSVP and cannot attend, please let us know asap so someone else can attend the class.  Below are details about the two scheduled classes (I’ve add these classes to the IMA calendar and also attached the calendar invites- Karelle, did I do this right? ;-)):

October 5 Community Members CPR/First Aid/AED Class in Lyons

Where: Roger’s Hall (Right next door to the Old Stone Congregational Church 408 High St Lyons, CO 80540)

Who:     Lay community leaders from IMA communities
