Dear Families and Friends of the Gold Hill School,

We are so pleased to announce the addition of our newest team member!  Johanna “Jojo” Morrison is joining the Gold Hill School to fill the position of para-educator/ principal assistant.  Jojo’s enigmatic and positive personality will be an amazing addition to the Gold Hill team!  We are thrilled to be putting her unique skill set use with the students as well as in the management of the school’s office.

Jojo, a former Gold Hill School student and daughter of former K12 teacher, Matthew Morrison, has worked for a number of years in special education and leadership development.  Jojo has a degree from Denver Metro State in Women’s Studies & Women’s Health, which she used for several years as an advocate and social services provider.  She has also worked in the field of environmental advocacy as a community campaigner for an Australian coral reef protection group.  Jojo is a certified yoga instructor, and specifically certified in the art of teaching yoga to children.  She also has been a special education para-educator previously at the Blue Mountain Elementary School in Longmont.

Jojo’s most recent work at the Colorado Mountain Ranch offered her the opportunity to be in a management roll at the ranch.  She has coordinated many large-scale projects at the ranch, put on many delightful fundraisers, as well as supervised the ranch staff and facilitated programing for large groups of children on a regular basis.  Jojo showed that she is a gifted “multi-tasker” with a passion for helping children to reach for their highest potential.

Take a moment to stop by and welcome Jojo “back” to the Gold Hill School!

Sincerely,

Chrissy and Mishie
