Join us on Friday evening, August 11th at Cherry and John Sand’s Property, across Prospect Avenue from the Gold Hill Museum as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the birth of our Gold Hill Museum!  We will be hosting an ice cream social and champagne party for Gold Hill and we will have two distinguished historians celebrating with us.

5:30pm      Ice Cream and Champagne celebration

6:00pm      Presentation by Ed Raines, Colorado School of Mines, on mining in Gold Hill and Boulder County with a special focus on Ward Yeager and the Cobalt Mine

6:45pm      Presentation by Chellee Courtney, local historian, past President of Historic Gold Hill Inc., and descendent the Goudge family, an early Boulder Pioneer family in Gold Hill

7:30pm      Round table of local and past residents of Gold Hill:  Anecdotes and special memories of Ann and Ward Yeager

Please plan on joining us for a fun evening of celebrating and archiving our history and if you have anecdotes to offer up for our round table, please plan on sharing them with us.

See you there!
