Mountain MidLife and Nederland Area Seniors Friends –

We are sad to share with you the passing of our friend and fellow Mountain MidLifer / Nederland Area Senior Tom Roczen. Many also know his long-time sweetheart Linnea Grovom. Tom’s memorial service will be Sunday, May 1, 2:00pm, Nederland Area Presbyterian Church. All are welcome to attend and join in friendship at the reception following. If you would like to bring a finger-food dish to share, please deliver it to the Fellowship Hall prior to the service.

A while ago another friend of Nederland Area Seniors had passed – David Stark. His son Sean will hold a memorial this Friday, April 22, 2:00pm, at David’s former residence at 694 Lost Angel Road off of Sugarloaf.

A new support group is starting in Nederland for those who have suffered a brain injury and those who love and support them. The Brain Injury Support Group, led by Yvette Poirier, meets on the fourth Wednesdays of each month, 3:00pm – 5:00pm, at Kathmandu Restaurant beginning Wednesday, April 27. Hosts will provide light appetizers.
