ANNOUNCING

What:   Meeting of “Mountain Communities of Boulder County”
When:  Tuesday, May 15 – 6:30pm to 8:30 pm
Where: Gold Hill Community Center (upstairs at the fire barn at the West end of town)

Topics for Discussion:

Issue: Mining: Update and open forum on application by Gold Hill Minerals, LLC to prospect for gold on national forest and private land west of Jamestown.

Issue: Recreational Shooting: Update and open forum on uncontrolled target shooting on national forest land.

Issue: Off-road Vehicle Use: Update and open forum on off-road vehicle use on national forest land.

Prepare presentation for the Mountain Mayor’s meeting: We are on the agenda for the Mountain Mayor’s meeting on May23. The intent will be to inform the mayors of our group’s existence and perspectives and develop a mutually beneficial relationship.
